Power Mac G4 Cube

I always wanted a Apple Mac Cube but being young broke and needing software that only existed in the Windows world I was unable to justify the purchase. Years passed and I was no longer as broke but now the hardware is outdated and software support is starting to fade as the users move toward the more modern Intel based macs.

Then I read an article that discussed a project that was attempting to make a kit to allow a person to replace the internals with a Intel Mac Mini. Once I heard about this and the project started moving along I started my search for a Mac Cube, there are plenty on eBay but it is hard to judge the condition from blurry or the stock images people use. I am always on guard shopping on eBay so many scammers. I was able to find one off of Craigslist for a decent price but the Cube was not in very good shape. So I will be attempting to restore the case with polishing and maybe a little sanding. I plan to document it here with pictures and the steps I will be taking.
